The Tunnel

The Tunnel, a former road tunnel in Dorset, makes for an ideal shooting experience for students of all levels. Ranges include a 25m, 4-point small-bore range and a 35m, 4-point small-bore range, each suitable for .22 target shooting, gallery rifle, black powder mini-rifle practical shooting and pistol courses.

The training centre also includes the only 5-lane, indoor 100m full-bore range for civilian use in the country!

Opened in 2013, the 100m range is the latest addition to the range complex and is certificated for rifles and pistols up to .50 caliber. This environment offers a wide range of shooting activities and is ideal for target rifle, sporting rifle, Civilian Service Rifle, bench-rest, practical shooting and 50m free-pistol.

Additional on-site facilities

The Tunnel incorporates fully equipped Briefing Rooms for relevant aspects of the training courses, along with an AIS Laser Judgemental Suite, a Café with catering facilities and optional lodging.
